VLCC, one of the leading slimming, health, and wellness services company is planning to pick up controlling stake in three beauty and wellness companies across South East Asia and Europe.
Based on a statement by Vandana Luthra to media – it is learnt that the company is up to finalizing an acquisition deal with a London based company, and another company in Singapore. They also have plans to acquire a leading hair saloon chain in South East Asia.
Recently VLCC has acquired Wyann International, a Malaysian personal care firm. Wyann International owns and operates a chain of 22 slimming and beauty salons across Malaysia. Earlier, VLCC has also picked up a controlling stake in a Singapore-based company manufacturing skin and hair-care products.
VLCC Is one of the leading beauty, health and wellness brands in India, and was set up by Vandana Luthra in 1989. The company has grown over the years and is now being considered as one of the leading wellness brands in South East Asia, with presence across 300 locations across 109 cities and across multiple countries – India, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Nepal.
