SaaS startup based in Kochi, SurveySparrow is planning to pay a joining bonus worth Rs. 50,000 to women candidates who have applied for quality assurance, product development and technical writer roles on or before 15th March and are ready to join the startup by 15th April.
Speaking on the announcement, Shihab Muhammed, founder and CEO at SurveySparrow, said, “With reports claiming the female labour force participation rate (LFPR) has hit its lowest since Independence, It’s imperative that we all do swift changes to remedy that. SurveySparrow, from the beginning, has always tried to bridge the gender gap. We hope that with this initiative, we will make it to at least 50:50 ratio, from the current 30:70 women to men ratio we are at.”
