ABB India Limited announced the appointment of Monica Widhani and Adrian Guggisberg to its Board of Directors, with effect from May 6, 2022.
Monica Widhani has a vast experience of more than three decades in Bharat Petroleum Corporation. She was the Head of Aviation in the company. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director, Coordination (Delhi Representative) & Head, Coordination Department. Widhani is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science (with Honours in Chemistry) from University of Rajasthan.
Currently, she is an Independent Director at Gujarat Pipavav Port Limited, a part of APM Terminals, port for containers, bulk and liquid cargo and GKN Driveline India Limited, an engineering and manufacturing company dedicated to delivering mass production solutions for mobility.
Joined ABB in 1996, Adrian Guggisberg has an extensive senior management and leadership experience in R&D, application engineering, product and product portfolio management within ABB’s Motion business area. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University Burgdorf, Switzerland and a bachelor’s degree in Economics, from Private Hochschule Wirtschaft, Switzerland. Currently, Adrian is serving as Division President.
