Apple hires Former CEO of Yves Saint Laurent to work on special projects.

It is interesting to learn that Apple has its next big hire from the luxury fashion house – Yves Saint Laurent (YSL). As reported by Bloomberg – Apple is hiring Paul Deneve, the former chief executive officer of luxury fashion house to work on special projects.  

While Deneve has a past with Apple Europe, where he worked in sales and marketing from 1990 to 1997, most recently he held the CEO’s role at Yves Saint Laurent. He has also worked with leading luxury fashion companies -Nina Ricci, and Lanvin. It is learnt that he has been in touch with the technology side as a part time advisor to several Silicon Valley start ups. He has a Masters degree from Stanford.
