HB Portfolio, a financial services firm, announced it has appointed Ashok Kumar as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective from June 7, 2021.
Kumar is replacing Himanshu Kansal who resigned in December 2020 after serving the organization for two years.
The company in a statement said that Kumar is proficient in designing & implementing systems/procedures to achieve financial discipline and enhance overall efficiency of the organisation. He has also got a comprehensive understanding and knowledge in handling the issues pertaining to Accounts and Income Tax Assessment Proceedings. He has been associated with HB Group of Companies for more than 11 years and has also worked with Angel Braking Limited, V.K. Tulsian & Co., Chartered Accountants and Graziano Transmission India Pvt. Ltd.
Kumar is a commerce graduate from Punjab University and a Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of experience in Finance & Accounts, Taxation, Audit, Banking and Risk Management Services.
