Consumer goods company Bajaj Consumer Care announced the appointment of Vivek Mishra as Legal Head and Company Secretary, effective Sept 01, 2021. Vivek succeeds Chandresh Chhaya, who resigned from the role of Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, with effect from August 31, 2021.
According to the Company’s exchange filing, “This is to inform you that pursuant to the provisions of Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013 and Rules made thereunder and Regulation 6 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations) 2015, Mr. Vivek Mishra has been appointed as Head Legal & Company Secretary (Key Managerial Personnel) of the Company with effect from September 1, 2021.”
Vivek Mishra is a graduate in Commerce & Law and is an associate member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He had joined Bajaj Consumer Care Limited as Head- Legal on October 19,2020. He has more than 14 years of experience in Corporate Secretarial & Legal functions.
Vivek has worked extensively in the areas like Corporate Governance, Compliances, Litigations, contract management, IPR’s, Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures. Prior to joining Bajaj Consumer, Vivek has worked with organizations like Mondelez India, Michelin India and GE Power, the statement said.
