Britannia Industries has appointed Varun Berry, the former CEO of PepsiCo Foods, as COO (Chief Operating Officer). In his new role Varun would be reporting to Vinita Bali, MD and CEO.
Varun had quit PepsiCo last year after having a 18 year stint with the company. In PepsiCo, he has worked across the business divisions in various geographies – India, Asia and Middle East. He had started his career with Booke Bond India Ltd in 1986, and joined PepsiCo in 1993.
Varun has an engineering degree from Punjab Engineering College and an MBA from University Business School, Panjab University.
