Conversational messaging platform Gupshup has appointed Gaurav Kachhawa as Chief Product Officer.
According to the company’s LinkedIn post, “In this exciting phase of growth at Gupshup, Gaurav Kachhawa, Chief Product Officer will be spearheading our Conversational Messaging vision. We look forward to strengthening our product proposition with him on board. Gaurav was part of the founding product teams both at eLance and Gupshup’s first phase in 2004. So it’s a warm welcome back to him!”
Kachhawa has previously worked at Adobe Inc., Twitter, Electronic Arts and Zynga. Most recently, he was senior director of product management with the ‘creative cloud’ group at Adobe.
“Gaurav…will be the driving force for our next generation of conversational messaging products and innovative experiences as businesses around the world look to meet their customers on their preferred touchpoints,” said Gupshup CEO, Beerud Sheth said.

Gaurav holds a B.Tech degree from IIT-Bombay and an MBA in Strategy, Venture Finance & Marketing from University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School.
