Indus Towers Limited, India’s largest telecom tower company, announced that Vinod Sivarama Krishnan has resigned from the role of Chief Information Officer of the company, with effect from September 30, 2023.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the Listing Regulations, we hereby inform you that Mr. Vinod Sivarama Krishnan, Chief Information Officer, designated as Senior Management Personnel of the Company, has decided to pursue opportunities outside the Company and has tendered his resignation today. His resignation has been accepted and he will be relieved from his duties by September 30, 2023. The Company places on record its appreciation for his valuable contribution and support during his tenure with the Company.”
Krishnan, a business and IT veteran has worked with some of the top organizations including Wal-Mart India (Business Head e-Commerce & CIO), Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd (CIO Global) and Palladyne International Asset Management (CTO). During his long career, Krishnan has spent close to 15 years with many of the GE Group companies including GE Equipment Services Europe, GE Bayer Silicones GmbH & Co KG, GE International Operations Co. Inc., and GE Plastics India Ltd, where he held different roles and functions.
Krishnan started his career with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) as Systems Manager in 1993 and gradually he moved up the ladder in bigger IT and business leadership roles with different companies.
