Jubilant Energy CEO Ajay Khandelwal resigns.

Ajay Khandelwal has resigned as CEO for Jubilant Energy, and has stepped down the Board of Jubilant Energy with immediate effect. This was announced earlier this week by the Board.

The company has kicked off the process of new CEO search and appointment. In the interim a committee comprising of Ramesh Bhatia, COO and Vipul Agarwal, CFO would look after the business.

imageAjay had joined Jubilant Energy in 2009. Earlier he was an Investment /Portfolio Advisor in Frontline Corporate Services, the family office of Norwegian billionaire  – John Fredriksen with controlling interest in 10 listed companies in Energy/Marine industry in Oslo, London and NY. Before that he had a stint with Shell International Gas, and Shell Exploration and Production as Finance & Investment advisor.

Ajay has an engineering degree from VJTI, and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
