Kamdhenu Limited, a manufacturer and seller of thermo-mechanically treated (TMT) bars, announced the appointment of Baldev Raj Sachdeva as Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive Independent Director on the company’s Board, with effect from May 2, 2023.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “the Board of Directors of Kamdhenu Limited (“the Company”) has, considered and approved the appointment of Shri Baldev Raj Sachdeva (DIN: 00016325) as an Additional Director in the category Non – Executive Independent Director of the company, for a term of 3 (Three) years w.e.f 2nd May, 2023 to 1st May, 2026 (both days inclusive), subject to the approval of Shareholders of the Company.”
Baldev Raj Sachdeva is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators – London. He also holds the fellow membership of the Indian Council of Arbitration (FICA), – Ministry of Commerce and a is a life member of the The International Centre for Alternate Dispute Resolutions, New Delhi. In furtherance to his insightful career he has to his account the membership of Bar Council of India as an Advocate and is also a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association.
Baldev Raj Sachdeva has to his account a rich experience of 35 years wherein he has been into service and practice both. Baldev Raj Sachdeva is an IBBI approved Insolvency Professional and a Registered Valuer. During his professional career he has been into Corporate Secretarial, Legal, Industrial, Arbitration and other corporate laws for around 29 years.
Baldev Raj Sachdeva has also been serving the profession as he had been the Chairman of the Noida Chapter of ICSI for 2001 & 2003 and he had been a member of the expert committees like Corporate Law Committee, Law & Justice Committee and Capital Market Committee of PHD/NCR Chamber of Commerce& Industry New Delhi for 2005, 2006 and 2007.
