Martin Murray has resigned as Chief Technology Officer of Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited (MEML), according to ETAuto report.
Murray was responsible for product and project engineering, mobility solutions, and programme management at Mahindra Electric. His last working day was July 31, 2021.
This comes soon after Mahesh Babu’s resignation in July as CEO and MD of the company in order to pursue interests outside the company. Consequently, Suman Mishra, senior vice president, business transformation, insight and analytics, automotive sector will take over as chief executive of MEML and chief executive designate of last mile mobility business with effect from August 14.
Murray was reporting to Mahesh Babu and was based in Bengaluru.
Murray joined Mahindra Electric Mobility in December 2019. Prior to this, he ran his own consulting firm in EV space known as Murray EV consultants. Earlier for 31-years he was with General Motors at various roles.
He is a mechanical engineer from Missouri University of Science & Technology and holds an MBA degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
