Mobileum, the global provider of telecommunications analytics solutions, announced that Miguel Caramés has joined the company as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Roaming, Network Services and Security.
In this role, Caramés will lead the strategy and commercial execution for the Roaming and Security business units, a statement said.

Most recently, Caramés served as Executive Director of Cloud and Technology Planning for Verizon, where he was responsible for leading technology strategy and planning for core wireless (4G and 5G), cloud, multi-access edge computing (MEC ), orchestration and emerging technologies. During his tenure at Verizon, he also led network operations and network planning and engineering teams, as well as product development. Prior to joining Verizon, Miguel held senior engineering positions at Motorola.
Caramés holds a master’s degree (MSc) in electrical engineering from the Universidad Politècnica de València (UPV), graduate credentials from the Instituto Superior Técnico ( Lisbon ), and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Jack Welch Management Institute.
