NetApp has appointed Anil Valluri as President – NetApp India Marketing & Services Private Limited. In this role Anil will oversee NetApp sales, marketing and services operations in India and SAARC region.
Anil , is an accomplished IT leader with over 25 years of Industry experience, Anil joins NetApp from Artiman Ventures, a USD 750M Bay Area-based Venture Capital firm. Prior to that, he worked at Sun Microsystems for 11 years, his last role being Vice President and Managing Director where he was responsible for managing a USD200M revenue business and its expansion into newer industry segments. Anil brings to NetApp an unparalleled track record of helping technology companies grow into market leaders and a deep understanding of the India market, along with strong relationships across customers, partners and industry influencers – that will be invaluable to NetApp’s growth plans in the region.

NetApp in India has a strong presence through two entities – a large Engineering centre based in Bangalore, headed by Vikram Shah and the Sales & Marketing group spread across seven cities in India, which now will be spearheaded by Anil Valluri. NetApp India has over 2500 employees and its Engineering centre is the largest for NetApp globally.
