Nippon Life India Asset Management appoints Rishi Garg as Chief Risk Officer

Nippon Life India Asset Management (NAM India), asset manager of Nippon India Mutual Fund (NIMF), announced the appointment of Rishi Garg as Chief Risk Officer.

Garg brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience across all facets of Risk Management including Market Risk, Credit Risk, Enterprise Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk, Reputation Risk, and Environmental & Social Risk, the statement said.

In his last role, he was working with RBL Bank and he has hands-on experience in the key elements of risk appetite framework, identification and mitigation of enterprise risks and risks across asset classes including market risk framework, policy, monitoring & control, and limits.

He has  worked with eminent organizations like ABN AMRO, Royal Bank of Scotland, CRISIL, TATA Motors, and Daiwa Capital Markets. He is an IIM Lucknow alumnus & B.E. from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.
