B2B SaaS Fintech company, Perfios announced the appointment of two key executives to its leadership team. Sumit Nigam has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), while Anu Mathew joins as Chief People Officer (CPO).
The appointments are part of Perfios’ strategic preparation for an IPO listing over the next 18-24 months, along with their plans for global expansion, a statement said.
Sumit Nigam, who assumed the role of CTO in July, brings over two decades of valuable experience in technology leadership to Perfios. In his new role, Sumit will be instrumental in guiding the company’s technological advancements with a focus on enhancing Perfios’s comprehensive suite of SaaS products as they expand their global footprint. Sumit will work closely with the CEO to shape the company’s technology roadmap. Prior to joining Perfios, Sumit has worked with organisations such as Big Basket, Walmart Global Tech, Informatica, and Dell EMC, where he honed his skills and expertise for several years.
While continuing to serve on the board, Debashish Chakraborty, co-founder who has served as CTO at Perfios for an impressive 15 years, will transition to a more strategic role within the organization. He will continue to be on the board and provide valuable guidance on critical technology projects while mentoring the tech team led by Sumit, according to the statement.

Anu has also played the role of a coach where she supports leaders in overcoming challenges to enhance their impact and expedite success. Her rich and diverse background, including roles at Pine Labs, QwikCilver, HCL, and GE, provided her with a holistic perspective and a unique approach to organization-building.
