Brainly, a peer-to-peer learning community and educational technology company, has appointed Rajesh Bysani as its chief product officer (CPO). Prior to this, Bysani has worked for over 15 years, as mobile transformation lead at Google, CPO at Zoomcar, AVP (Product and Growth) at FreeCharge.
In a media statement, Michał Borkowski, co-founder and CEO, Brainly, said, “His rich experience and bold vision will help us create a more effective and relevant product for our users, and we look forward to achieving new milestones with him and seeing more and more users from around the world benefit from online learning.”
Brainly is the world’s largest social learning platform with 150mn+ MAUs and has a presence in over 35 countries. In 2016 and 2017, Brainly has closed $15M + $14M Series B funding, led by Naspers and Kulczyk Investments, to bring the total funding from current investors, including General Catalyst Partners, Point Nine Capital, Runa Capital and Learn Capital, to $38.5M.
