Sampark Foundation, a leading NGO working towards improving learning outcomes in primary education, has appointed Reema Malhotra, Former Senior Vice President People – S&P Global to its advisory board.
As a member of the Advisory Board, Reema will provide invaluable guidance, oversight and support to identify necessary expertise and roles in Sampark Foundation to achieve its mission. Reema will also play a pivotal role in motivating all Sparks (Sampark Foundation Employees) to achieve the shared goal of improving the quality of education for 2 crore children by 2025 across 2 lakh schools in 10 states, the statement said.
To bring a global perspective into the working of the Foundation, the Board has undergone restructuring to establish a European Advisory Team, comprising four distinguished members, a statement said.
With a remarkable career spanning over 28 years, Reema has held leadership positions in esteemed organizations across diverse sectors, including Nokia, BlackRock, IHS Markit, and S&P Global. Throughout her professional journey, she has successfully led the HR function, gaining extensive experience in multiple geographic regions. Reema has been instrumental in navigating large-scale Mergers & Acquisitions and focusing on cultural integration and talent assimilation. She has built Leadership Teams, transformed HR teams and processes and facilitated smooth CEO transitions. As a valued member of global leadership teams, Reema has effectively managed global People portfolios, demonstrating her proficiency in overseeing international teams and spearheading various global projects.

The European Sampark Foundation Board comprises a distinguished line-up of individuals, including Stuart Drew, An Experienced Board-Level Executive and NED, Author of The Liberated Manager; Charles-Henri Besseyre Des Horts, Professor Emeritus at HEC Paris; Vishaal Gupta, Senior Managing Director at Accenture and Bindi Bhullar, Senior Director and Analyst at Gartner. This esteemed board will play a vital role in enabling Sampark Foundation to mobilize resources from Europe and other regions outside India to support its mission. Additionally, the board members will leverage their extensive experience to enhance the Sampark program and provide valuable insights on communication strategies.
