Milestone Systems, a global leader within open platform video management software, has appointed Sandesh Kaup as the new country manager for India and SAARC.
Sandesh Kaup re-joins Milestone after a four-year stint in Allied Telesis – a network infrastructure/telecommunications company, involved with secure IP/Ethernet switching solutions.
Kaup has previously worked at Bosch Security, Ingram Micro, and Anixter. He has a BE degree in Instrumentation from Mumbai University.
Speaking on the appointment, Jordan Cullis, director for APAC at Milestone Systems, said, “Sandesh not only brings his exhaustive experience of two decades in the security industry, but has prior experience with Milestone where he has displayed illustrious leadership and yielded the company to great growth numbers. His experience, contacts in the Indian market and sales-focused management style will be instrumental in recovering the region after such a difficult, Covid-effected 2020.”

The company said that Kaup in his earlier tenure at Milestone, had driven 40% YoY growth from 2011 to 2015 in India.
