SBI Mutual Fund has appointed Ashwani Bhatia as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. He takes over from Anuradha Rao who would be getting back to State Bank of India as Deputy MD.
Before joining SBI Funds Management Private Limited, he was Chief General Manager (Officer on Special Duty), Corporate Centre in SBI, Mumbai (February 2018– July 2018). He was responsible for revamping of Credit Structure and processes of the Bank.
He has earlier been associated with SBI Capital Markets Limited, as President & Chief Operating Officer and Whole-Time Director. He started his career with State Bank of India (SBI) as a Probationary Officer in 1985, and over last 33 years, he has been with SBI across various assignments.
