BBG, a national commercial valuation and assessment real estate services firm, has announced that it expanded its assessment services with the acquisition of Mach-8 Consulting, a York, ME-based due diligence services firm specializing in HUD-insured property assessment projects. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The company said in a statement, “With the Mach-8 acquisition, BBG will launch a new practice group offering environmental and engineering due diligence assessment expertise in HUD-insured assessments for multifamily projects, as well as complementing the firm’s assessment capabilities in other commercial sectors.”
BBG named Mach-8 Founder and President Blaine Bauman as Senior Managing Director and will lead the HUD-insured assessment specialty practice group, which will include other Mach-8 employees.
