Squadcast secures $6M from DNX and Wipro

Squadcast has announced that it has secured $6 million from Valley-based DNX and Wipro. Nexus Ventures and Chiratae Ventures also participated in the funding round. The company also announced the addition of DNX and Q Motiwala to its Board of Directors.

Founder and CEO – Amiya Adwitiya said in a statement, “Through our platform, we continue to demonstrate to companies how easy it is to adopt Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices which, in turn, helps them improve their incident resolution metrics and ultimately, the reliability of their systems. Our mission is to democratise SRE and become the central reliability management tool for organizations of all sizes — be it a hyper-growth startup or a large scale enterprise.

The company plans to use this capital to expand its product offering and grow the core team across all functions at Squadcast. This will include launching the ability to configure response automations, significantly increasing the interoperability of its platform, and adding revamped features such as status pages and on-call schedules.

Founded by Amiya Adwitiya and Sisir Koppaka in 2017, Squadcast offers services that help enterprises ensure that their IT services are always up and running. The company was incorporated in Delaware in 2018 and has offices in Bengaluru and Palo Alto. It counts companies such as Udaan, SonyLiv, Carnegie Mellon University, Ninjacart and Coinbase as customers.
