Supply chain tech startup Locus expands its presence in Mexico

Locus, a leading-edge technology company that provides excellent solutions for last-mile logistics, announced that it has expanded its presence in Mexico. 

This operational expansion is in line with the company’s commitment to enable companies to transform their last-mile processes into centers of growth, a statement said.

Locus provides a real-world shipping management solution that helps companies seamlessly manage all stages of last-mile fulfillment on a single, integrated platform. In North America and Latin America, the Locus platform is used by multiple clients across all industries, from FMCGs to new-age e-commerce start-ups, for a range of Comprehensive management of fulfillment processes such as order placement, route planning, carrier and capacity analysis and management, according to the statement.

Locus was founded in 2015 and is backed by GIC Singapore, Tiger Global, Qualcomm Ventures and Falcon Edge. In addition, it has helped a wide range of clients globally across all industries, including Unilever, Nestle, Bukalapak, The Tata Group, BlueDart and more, make 650 million deliveries in more than 30 countries in Latin America, North America, Europe , Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and the Indian subcontinent. 

Its technology has also saved $200 million in transit costs, offset 70 million kilograms in CO2 emissions, and maintained an ANS compliance rate of 99.5%, a statement said.
