Venturi Partners lands $100 million towards first close of maiden fund

Venturi Partners has announced that it has raised $100 million towards first close of maiden fund. The anchor investors included Peugeot Invest, Ackermans & van Haaren, Generation P and Alexander de Wit.

Managing Partner at Venturi Partners – Nicholas Cator said, “To achieve our first close just six months later than we set out to in the midst of a global pandemic is a fantastic achievement and testament to the belief our investors have in our strategy. We are bringing together a small number of investors with similar values looking to participate in the Asian consumer story. Our goal is to be an investment platform for our investors and we will aim to offer up to 100 percent of fund commitments in co-investment opportunities.”

Nicolas further said, “Venturi’s team has unique expertise, network, and track record in the consumer space in the region. Entrepreneurs today are looking for more than investors – they want value-add partners that understand consumers and brands. Adding value to portfolio companies by being sector-focused, operationally-minded, and supporting management teams on specific projects is now more relevant than ever.”
