Bangalore-based startup NoBroker is looking to increase its employee headcount to 500 in-order to meet the changing customer needs. The hiring will take place across all levels for the technology and product teams.
The online real-estate platform has a total number of 2000 employees currently with a recent hiring of 500 new professionals in marketing, business operations and technology. Despite the pandemic, the platform has also introduced an average hike of 15% to 200 senior employees along with regular quarterly incentives for customer service executives.
Amit Agarwal, co-founder of NoBroker told to ET – “While growth did slow down for us initially, and our customer base dipped by almost half we were able to get back on our feet quite quickly and fortunately have not laid off any employees and have not deducted any salaries, either.”
He added – “At a time when many businesses have been forced to shut shop or scale down their operations, we are fortunate to have grown exponentially. We are rewarding our senior employees, many of whom have been with NoBroker since the beginning, with salary hikes for their efforts in driving this growth. We have also expanded our technology, marketing, and business operations teams with new recruits and are looking to further scale up our operations.”
NoBroker has been founded by a team of IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad graduates. It is a disruptive real-estate platform that makes it possible to buy/sell/rent a house without paying any brokerage.
