Cognizant, a multinational IT company, plans to hire over 23,000 freshers from campuses in India in 2021, informed Chairman and Managing Director – Rajesh Nambiar.
With more than 2,00,000 employees, Cognizant India has on-boarded over 17,000 people via campus placement drives previous year.
Rajesh Nambiar, CMD of Cognizant India, said, “These new hirings will complement our lateral hires. In quarter one, we will hire more than in any other quarter in the history of Cognizant.”
He further added, “Cognizant will focus on hiring staff for its digital products, such as cloud, data, digital engineering, and internet of things (IoT) and other strategic areas such as cybersecurity, salesforce, and business modernisation technologies.”
