In recent hiring, Instamojo has hired 50% new recruits from Tier 2 and 3 cities. The full-stack transactional platform aimed at bringing small business online conducted the hiring across tech, marketing and product teams.
Along with this, the company also announced a permanent work from home flexi option, under which the employees can choose to work from home or office.
“Geographical locations were no more a barrier, and candidates were hired and onboarded virtually. While this helped us widen our access to reach the right candidates, new hires had the benefit to work out of their hometowns.” – said Akash Gehani, Co-Founder & COO, Instamojo.
“Flexibility at work is an essential feature today, while employees look for. At Instamojo, along with the introduction of the permanent work-from-home feature, we plan to continue following our work from anywhere policy, with our office space open and accessible to all employees,” he further added.
The platform has previously secured investment in the Pre-Series C funding round for business expansion and to enter new markets.
Founded in 2012 by Aditya Sengupta, Akash Gehani, Harshad Sharma and Sampad Swain, Instamojo claims it provides a simple & fast payment solution, business tools & valuable connections to the MSMEs that can help them get a headstart & grow confidently.
Earlier in 2019, Instamojo raised $7 million in a funding round led by AnyPay, along with Gunosy and existing investors Kalaari Capital and BeeNext.
