PwC India will be hiring 1,200 people from engineering and data analytics background in the next year. Most of these hires will work for its newly inaugurated future ready IoT Lab and the Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence. The company will also be hiring for Digital Experience led Transformations, Cloud and BlockChain. The company also has plans to hire an additional 2,000 people in Kolkata over the next 3 years
These facilities are the first of their kind for PwC in India, and are based at PwC’s newly constructed 60,000 sq ft facility in Kolkata. These labs will support ideation and incubation of innovative solutions on areas such as Industry 4.0, Responsible AI, Blockchain etc. These labs are also expected to help PwC’s clients apply emerging technology solutions to manage disruptions in their industry and deliver breakthrough solutions to enhance their customer experience.

Today, we are 6000 people strong in the region and are committed to develop the pool here by offering them multi competency growth opportunities.”
The organisation also has plans to showcase its IoT capabilities by transforming their entire Salt Lake office premises into a smart building in the months to come.
