Zippr has tied up with New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) to create digital door numbers for 50,000 homes.
“90% of the administrative tasks happen along the street, so it is important to give identity to all the streets. This is a scalable system, down to the localities and buildings,” said Parikshith Reddy, co-founder of Zippr.
Reddy added, “the government is an important stakeholder so we realised that we need to work with them to fix the problem of both identity and accessibility.”
Zippr solves the problem of explaining complex addresses by creating a new simple standard for individuals and businesses. In 2013, the company has started as a solution to a very frequent problem of finding places, both in the physical and digital worlds.
