Sher Singh expands its Leadership Team

Sher Singh (http://www.shersingh.com/) has announced the appointment of Mr. Shyam Sukhramani as its Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer. Shyam has over 17 years of rich experience in the retail and fashion industry and, most recently ran the Global Fashion Jeans business for Levi Strauss & Co based out of its headquarters in San Francisco. Shyam moved back to India to join the Sher Singh leadership team after a long and successful career at Levi’s, including over 15 years in India. Shyam joined Levi’s in 1995 and was instrumental in building the brand in India prior to his move to the Global HQ in SF.

With experience spanning more than 20 years, Shyam was responsible for marketing the Levi’s brand in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. He had been successively promoted within the organization, to manage a variety of portfolios including launching Levi’s Sykes and Dockers San Francisco in India.

Shyam is a graduate in Chemical engineering from Bangalore University, with a major in Biochemical engineering.
