Being positive helps !

positive

Every situation can be interpreted in as many ways we can think of interpreting it. We can dissect any situation based on our own understanding (which for most of us is mostly limited) and interpret it as seems fit to us. A statement can be humor, the same can be sarcasm, the same can be insulting, and the same may be understood as threatening.

If that’s the case, it makes sense that we better our own self, our own understanding and how we interpret the situations and happenings around us. If our poor understanding can get us paranoid, scared, or angry it makes sense to be perpetually positive, so as we are better off even if a situation actually turns glum.

Most of the times, we take a message in a negative way because we are full of fear, apprehension, and are burdened with poor self-image, low self-esteem etc. So even if someone says – all the best for future, we take it as if the person is making a mockery of our poor state of being. May be the other person just wished us well in a routine manner, but since we feel underprivileged and lost, we are taking the message in a negative manner.

It’s all a matter of understanding and I really can’t claim to understand it better than you do. May be I am right, may be there’s more to it, and may be there’s more to it than meets the eye.

No harm in staying positive though. It always helps.
