IT major Birlasoft Limited announced that Chandrasekar Thyagarajan has resigned from the role of Chief Financial Officer of the company, with effect from February 2, 2023.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “This is to inform you that Mr. Chandrasekar Thyagarajan – Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel of the Company, has tendered his resignation vide letter dated January 2, 2023, due to personal reasons and he will be relieved from his duties effective end of business hours of February 2, 2023.”

Chandrasekar Thyagarajan is a Chartered Accountant with 32 years of experience, including 18 years in CXO level positions, with global and Indian companies in a variety of areas including financial strategy and decision support, financial planning, budgeting and reporting, statutory and management accounting, costing of products and services, implementation of financial processes and procedures, integration of legal entities, businesses and support functions, business controls and financial risk management, financial restructuring, sourcing of funds (private equity and IPO), liaison with financial institutions, and investment banks, statutory compliance, procurement and vendor negotiation, real estate, site operations and transport operations.

He is a Finance specialist in the IT services space having spent 20 years in a leading US multinational IT SI firm and in prior jobs supporting the Infrastructure Services, BPO and KPO services, software development, Application Management Services and IT Consulting Services businesses.
