Dentsu International India CEO, Anand Bhadkamkar, has resigned from the role with immediate effect, according to ETBrandEquity report. Bhadkamkar was promoted to CEO role in 2019.
In a press statement, Dentsu has confirmed the development and mentioned that Ashish Bhasin, CEO, APAC and chairman India, and Peter Huijboom, global CEO, media and global clients will assume interim, day-to-day leadership of dentsu India while the business completes its search for a successor to Bhadkamkar.
The statement also mentions that this development marks the beginning of dentsu India 2.0 and shall provide an impetus to the transformation.
