Lightspeed named Marty Reaume as Chief People Officer

Lightspeed POS announced the appointment of Marty Reaume to the newly created role of Chief People Officer.

In her new role, Reaume will lead Lightspeed’s talent development and build on the company’s diverse and inclusive hiring practices during a noteworthy period of company growth.

Recognized this year as one of the Top 50 Women in Technology by the American National Diversity Council, Reaume will spearhead global programs to develop talent to further Lightspeed’s goal of empowering independent businesses. She joins Lightspeed as the company continues its expansion to address growing worldwide demand among SMBs implementing cloud technology to run and grow their business.

Reaume brings more than 15 years of experience building world-class teams and workplace cultures within Silicon Valley-based technology companies to the role. Having served as Chief People Officer for Twilio, Fitbit and Netsuite, Reaume’s expertise will be instrumental as Lightspeed aims to become the leading global end-to-end platform serving complex SMBs.

“We’re thrilled to have Marty join the Lightspeed team during this key period of global growth,” said Dax Dasilva, Founder and CEO of Lightspeed. “Her extensive international experience attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive environment will be a true asset to Lightspeed.”

“Lightspeed is known for the rich and diverse culture it has nurtured over the past 15 years,” said Marty Reaume, Chief People Officer of Lightspeed. “I look forward to continuing to build on that legacy to ensure people and culture continue to be a point of difference for the company, central to our ability to serve the needs of our growing global customer base.”

Acquiring four companies internationally since its initial public offering in 2019, Lightspeed serves more than 74,000 customer locations from 14 offices worldwide.
