Autotech company CARS24 has inaugurated its second Research and Development Centre (R&D) in Bengaluru, Karnataka to advance innovation, growth and building an excellent ecosystem.

To lead the charge in technological advancements and fuel our growth, CARS24 is also investing in best-in-class leadership. The company has also announced the addition of Shobhit Shrivastava as the Senior Director of Engineering.

In this new role, Shobhit will lead the engineering team, driving innovation and elevating the technology that empowers CARS24. His responsibilities extend to overseeing the AU tech initiative and fostering seamless collaboration with business, growth, and product teams. Shobhit’s appointment underscores CARS24’s commitment to attracting top talent and delivering an even more exceptional customer experience in the world of used cars, as per the statement.

Shobhit is a highly respected tech leader with nearly two decades of experience. He boasts a successful track record of unifying diverse data sources into cohesive platforms and collaborating across domains to elevate user experiences. Shobhit has consistently led high-performing engineering teams and has worn various hats at global organisations, including Amazon, Autodesk, Smarsh, Autonomy, Dassault Systemes etc. He has consistently delivered cutting-edge technology solutions, from stabilising graph-based computing platforms and leading product redesigns at Amazon to contributing significantly to the development of solid modelling CAD products like Inventor Fusion at Autodesk. His versatile expertise spans scalability, distributed systems, big data, Java, Hadoop, and Amazon Web Services (AWS), reflecting a remarkable journey of impactful contributions across diverse domains.

What sets Shobhit apart is his entrepreneurial spirit, honed as the co-founder of B2B SaaS startup, Sogage Software. His passion for assembling and leading innovative teams is a valuable asset that he brings to CARS24 as the company continues its pioneering journey in Autotech innovation, the statement said.
