Home healthcare company, Portea Medical has appointed Mr Vaibhav Tewari as its Co-founder and Member of Board. He has been serving as the organization’s COO since 2013 and is a key member of the leadership team along with founders Meena Ganesh and K Ganesh.
Vaibhav Tewari has played a prominent role in conceptualizing the organisation, even before it was incorporated. He is also responsible for driving several innovations such as point-of-care and remote monitoring of patients, a customer engagement programme (an industry-first in-home healthcare) and disease-specific offerings etc. Under his leadership, Portea Medical has gone through several pivots and added new dimensions to its offerings year on year.
Speaking on his new role, he said – “I have seen Portea Medical grow from strength to strength and been associated with the organization for over 7 years now. It is like a plant that I have nurtured and therefore, I am happy to step up into a higher capacity. I hope to contribute further to Portea’s growth in the times to come and diversify the range of services going forward with the management team.”
Mr Tewari, with the help of state governments, RWAs and corporates, executed remote monitoring solutions. This has led to a reduction of burden on hospitals and ensured timely testing and proper in-home isolation.
