Reveal, the global provider of the leading AI-powered eDiscovery, review and investigations platform, announced the opening of its new office in India, marking a significant moment in the company’s ongoing global expansion.
While Hyderabad will be home to Reveal’s India operations, it is also key to the company’s larger strategy to extend its reach into the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region and beyond, a statement said.
The announcement was officially made during a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of Reveal’s new India headquarters, which was attended by local and international business leaders and government officials, including Wendell Jisa, founder & CEO of Reveal, Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government of Telangana, Honorable Sri Justice Ponugoti Naveen Rao, and Sri Harshavardhan Godugula, Partner EY, Head of Forensic Technology India, as per the statement.
The event also featured a panel discussion on “Power, Accountability, and Responsibility in the Age of AI,” moderated by Raj Sivaraju, Director of Reveal Data, India. It explored the multifaceted impact of artificial intelligence on various aspects of society by delving into the potential of AI to streamline government operations, enhance citizen services, and address pressing concerns related to data privacy and transparency.
“Our expansion into Hyderabad is more than just geographic growth; it’s about bringing our state-of-the-art AI technology to a broader community of legal professionals,” said Anil, the upcoming SVP of India Operations at Reveal. “We are committed to transforming how legal professionals across APAC leverage technology for data analysis, eDiscovery, and more.”
The new office will focus on software development, AI, Generative AI teams, and deployment support. This expansion, which plans to see a workforce of more than 300, is set to significantly impact the local economy and overall tech community, according to the statement.
Reveal’s advanced eDiscovery solutions will provide essential support to India’s thriving Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) sector, which offers legal document review and contract management services, primarily to the US and UK markets. In addition, Reveal aims to expand software subscriptions and train attorneys in India on AI utilization for legal document review, thus enhancing the efficiency of legal services.
“As Reveal continues to expand its global presence, our commitment to driving the adoption of artificial intelligence in the legal sector remains at the forefront of our mission,” said Wendell Jisa, founder & CEO of Reveal. “At Reveal, we are proud of our decade-long history of providing innovative, AI-driven solutions that empower legal practitioners to navigate the complexities of today’s data-driven world with greater efficiency and accuracy. Our vision is to make AI an integral, accessible, and indispensable part of every legal professional’s toolkit, fostering a global legal community that is more informed, agile and effective.”
Reveal has systematically grown its APAC presence, with no plans to slow down. Following the opening of its Sydney office, Reveal has a steady and growing presence in New Zealand, Singapore, Korea, Japan, and China. The company also notes burgeoning interest from other countries, signaling a widespread recognition of the value Reveal’s AI prowess brings to the eDiscovery sector.
