VR-AR gaming firm – Microgravity has secured $1.2 million from friends and family in seed funding round.
Co-founder and managing director at Microgravity – Rahul Bhattacharya, said, “Gaming centres at malls used to be a big attraction but Covid-19 impacted the business severely. Now, as things start coming back to normal, we expect the demand for such activities to rise.”
“We had planned to launch in February 2020 but first because of the NGT ban and then due to the lockdown, the launch was delayed. Now that people have started moving out of their homes, we have opened the centre and finalised plans for the future as well, for which we are raising funds,” added Bhattacharya.
The firm is also looking to bag another $10 million in the coming six to eight months.
