OneOneDay, an Adtech Startup, raises $1.3 Mn fund in a Pre Series A

Hong-Kong based ad-tech startup OneOneDay, has raised $1.3 Mn in a pre series A funding led by Chinese investors, with participation from Indian angel investor Rohan Malhotra, founding partner at Tiberius Holdings. OneOneDay, was founded by Rick Tsing in year 2017. The company has raised $2.3 Mn till now. 

The company recently launched its app ‘Oodies’ in India. The app lets users watch ads that they like and pays them for it. A part of users earnings is directed to a social cause of their choice. 

The fund will be used for scaling up operations, sales, and enhancing it’s tech platform.  The company is looking to grow it’s app user base to 10 million by the year 2020, and aims to launch a browser plug-in and TV app shortly. The company has also signed a partnership with Airtel.

Rohan Malhotra, angel investor said, “The Oodies vision is an impact-driven mission which rewards viewers for their valuable time and attention by democratising the ad market and enabling us to choose media that is relevant to us and can be monetised.”
