FreshToHome, has announced that it would receive incentives both financial and non-financial, from the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
With the incentives received, the Bengaluru-based firm would increase its farming, supply chain and processing capabilities in desert agriculture and aquaculture in the UAE capital.
ADIO’s partnership will aid the expansion of it’s land and sea operational and processing capabilities in the UAE, bringing expertise in aquaculture, contract farming for marine and freshwater fish species and precision agriculture to Abu Dhabi. It will also invest in innovative fish farming technologies and cold chain.
“The rapid growth of Abu Dhabi’s AgTech ecosystem is giving rise to new technologies supporting the advancement of the agriculture sector in the emirate, region and beyond. We have created an environment where innovators are supported to turn their ideas into reality.” said Dr Tariq Bin Hendi, director general of ADIO.
