School communication platform, Uolo has raised Rs. 20 Crore in a pre-Series A round led by Omidyar Network India and Blume Ventures, an early stage venture fund.
The company plans to invest the funds to expand its team across technology and operations and improve its offerings for school administration and students.

Once the school, teachers, parents and students are digitally connected and this community moves online, it becomes possible to build on top of 6+ hours of daily learning that happens inside the school. In the next 2 years, we plan to bring 20,000 schools comprising 10 Million students to build an active online community.”
Founded by Pallav Pandey, Ankur Pandey and Siddharth P. Singh, the start-up helps schools to connect, collaborate and communicate with parents through its mobile app. It works with more than 2000 schools and 1 million students in more than 200 cities across India.
